Our son suffered a life threatening brain injury and after his release from intensive care and a chronic facility, we had the difficulty of not only finding a rehabilitation and health facility that had professionals with the skill level to care for patients on a breathing vent but one that would be acceptable with our son’s health insurance network. Thank God, our social worker recommended Autumn Lake Healthcare at Bridgeport. We could not be more pleased with the level of care our son is receiving.

I love the staff!
I love the staff here because without staff I would not be alive. I came in 1 year ago on hospice on a ventilator and the staff on the 2nd floor cared for me step by step and I came out of hospice and off the ventilator! The staff still look at me strangely. Not only did I get that from the staff from the 2nd floor I got it from every part of the staff here. They care. They do their jobs beyond what they really think. It’s unreal how good they are at their jobs. And they do it so natural. I believe this. I would not be here for the staff! Hospice would’ve took control but the way the staff is here, the staff is why I’m still living.
